Menorah Park Campus Outstanding In Two Back-to-Back State Inspections Once again, the Menorah Park Center for Senior Living’s Nursing Home Division and Stone Gardens Assisted-Living Residence received outstanding survey results from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) in back-to-back surprise inspections. “There are many positive results from such excellent inspections, such as continued confidence from families, clients and hospital discharge planners. We can also continue our Medicare Five Star rating,” stated CEO Steven Raichilson. Ohio Department of Health inspectors also complimented the staff on their high quality care program, according to Raichilson. “As in other years, these inspection results were excellent. No problems were noted in the many resident care areas provided by Menorah Park, which seem to be prevalent in other nursing homes today, due to the financial stresses and work force issues facing our field,” Raichilson continued. Menorah Park hosted varying numbers of surveyors, four on some days, and seven on other days for four straight days. “These types of surprise inspections help our many constituent groups, including staff, clients, families, volunteers, trustees and our many fine donors, realize that our collective efforts are yielding outstanding client care results,” according to Richard Schwalberg, administrator of Menorah Park Nursing Home. “We are proud of this wonderful organization.” Ross Wilkoff, administrator at Stone Gardens said, “These are very rigorous surveys that focus on the details of quality care expected in a supportive-living apartment environment. The state surveyor interviewed residents, analyzed records, viewed meal preparation, and observed nurses as they delivered medications and cared for residents. The entire process is designed to ensure that the highest assisted-living standards are met. We are very proud of the results. “ These survey results follow additional perfect, deficiency-free Medicaid Passport inspections for Menorah Park’s Home Health program and Menorah Park’s Adult Day Center. Wiggins Place, also on the Menorah Park Campus, received a perfect, deficiency free ODH inspection earlier this year. Making your life easier with services in one location. More TiMe for You!
